Z-Man pro Casey Ashley began fishing the prestigious Bassmaster Elite Series in 2007 at the age of 23, making him one of the youngest competitors in the Series.  Despite his youth, Ashley has proven himself to be a formidable competitor on the tournament trail.  In his first year fishing the Elite Series, he claimed first place in the Blue Ridge Brawl at Smith Mountain Lake with a three-day total of 57.3 lbs.  In just three years, Ashley has fished his way to eight top-ten finishes, including a recent second place finish at Evan Williams Dixie Duel on Wheeler Lake last April.  In the 2009 season, Casey qualified for his third straight Bassmaster Classic, and he has already amassed over $380,000 in career winnings in his short career.  Keep an eye out for Casey fishing in his Z-Man-wrapped boat or on his ESPN instructional mini-shows and Z-Man commercials.
